Where did you grow up?

Woodland Hills California

What was your first bike as a kid?

Schwinn with a Banana seat.

What was your first “serious bike"

I can't name the first, but the ones that are first in my recollection.

What style of riding do you do?

Road, gravel.

Do you race? What was your first race?

BMX race at the Valley Teen Center in L.A.

Can you remember a “favorite moment” on your bike?

Riding alongside the 1984 Olympic Torch Runners through Los Angeles and through the San Fernando Valley

What was your worst moment on a bike?

NEVER A BAD MOMENT, EVEN CRASHING IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you/did you play sports other than cycling/bike racing?

HELL NO,,,,CYCLING IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If a non-cyclist asked you what makes cycling great, what would you tell them?

The man-machine connection and using the bike, and cycling, to "disconnect" and capturing that moment of freedom!!!!

What is a favorite ride/route?

Hill Country, Liberty Hill, Lime Creek Loop, Fitzhugh Loop

If you could take a ride anywhere, where would it be?

Tour de France Route

What is your history in the bike business?

Started in the 1983 in sales and technical, worked as a mechanical design engineer.

What is your favorite meal, if cycling didn’t matter?

Steak and mashed potatoes and coffee ice cream!
