MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) was developed by brain surgeons and scientists to help reduce rotational forces on the brain caused by angled impacts to the head. The BOA® Fit System lets you easily secure and adjust helmet fit with one hand and internal, recessed channels move airflow over your head to keep you cool and dry.
The Velocis MIPS features a sunglass port allows easy access to securely store glasses when not in use and comes in Viper Red, White, Black. The Velocis MIPS also includes removable NeoVisor for all the benefits of a cycling cap without extra bulk and Bontrager offers a Crash Replacement Guarantee provides free helmet replacement if involved in a crash within the first year of ownership.
